For the academic year 2022-23, Kampala International School Uganda (KISU), a premier international institution in Kampala, has opened its doors to students interested in pursuing their studies at this remarkable and global-standard school.
According to a social media statement, KISU claimed admissions for kindergarten, primary, and secondary are open, and interviews for eligible students are held every day from Monday to Friday at the school's Bukoto campus.
To be shortlisted for the interview, a photocopy of the applicant's birth certificate or child immunisation certificate (for nationals); a photocopy of the kid's valid passport (for foreigners/non-Ugandans); and two passport pictures for the child, plus one for the parent, are necessary.
KISU, as it is usually called, was founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of the Ruparelia Group's education department. According to 2020-21 admission data, the school has approximately 400 students from more than 60 countries enrolled.
KISU is a world-class educational centre that provides an international education to pupils aged 2 to 19. The school now has 450 kids of over 50 different nationalities enrolled. The school is situated on a 14-acre property with a total capacity of 1,000 pupils. The KISU courses blend the structure, rigour, and transferability of the English National Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate's wide, comprehensive, and constructive approach (IB).
Notably, the school's academic performance is at the needed level, owing to well-trained staff members who are skilled at dealing and disciplining students, a key to success as proven by the school's excellent performance for many consecutive years.
Four science labs, three computer labs, three music rooms, three performance areas, an indoor sports hall, an outdoor basketball court, a 25 metre eight lane competition swimming pool, two libraries, smart boards in most classrooms, and a five-acre playing field are available at Kampala International School.
KISU students have access to a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including outdoor education and international visits to varied countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Mount Kilimanjaro, and an annual ski trip in Europe.
This comprehensive education and learning environment contributes to the school's overall growth and development of its output to the outside world.
