Felista di Superstar, a remarkable Ugandan child rapper, hailed the Ruparelia Foundation in a special video for helping her to reach a milestone after graduating elementary school at Kampala Parents' School, which is owned by businessman Rajiv Ruparelia.
The 11-year-old is one of 410 kids that did well in the recently released primary leaving examination (PLE) results for 2022.
Despite balancing her education and her music career, the 'Nawambye' hitmaker received 13 aggregates, needing just one point to get to the first grade.
Felista di Superstar, who enrolled at Kampala Parents School under the Ruparelia Foundation Scholarship Scheme two years ago, recorded a video with another kid superstar, Fresh Kid (real name Patrick Ssenyonjo), thanking Rajiv and the Foundation for their assistance in assisting her to achieve such a steadfast milestone.
"Thank you very much, Ruparelia Foundation, Mr. Sudhir, Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia, we appreciate you very much," Felista responded swiftly after hearing her results in a video with Fresh Kid on Friday afternoon.
"I'd want to see her become a leader and inspiration to many young people out there," Rajiv Ruparelia, the foundation's managing director, said when he awarded her the scholarship in 2020.
"We'll make sure you learn how to be confident, and everything we provide you will help your music career develop," he said later.
