Victoria University has entered into a deal with Stanbic Bank Uganda to give students with credit for computers.Students enrolled at Victoria University will now be able to get laptops on a loan basis, according to a deal reached on August 22nd, 2022 between Victoria University and Stanbic Bank.
Dr Lawrence Muganga, Vice Chancellor of Victoria University, negotiated the arrangement. This offer will allow students to purchase computers and pay for them on a monthly basis. According to Doctor Lawrence Muganga, the laptop deal would promote technology-driven learning.
The partnership comes just days after Victoria Institution was granted its charter, making it Uganda's eleventh private chartered institution.
