Christmas is a holiday that should be spent with family and friends. Every event has a range of local and international foods prepared in a manner that honours the occasion. Various fruits and drinks are beneficial for suiting the occasion.
To help you celebrate Christmas in style this year, Speke Resort and Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort are giving a special brunch buffet in the hotel's large Nyanja Restaurant. Beverages, bread, a buffet, fruits, and a children's area will be included in the mega-deal (which covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Speke Resort announced the Christmas dinner on social media, stating that the brunch dinner, which is valid only on December 25th, 2022, will include a live band performance and a Kid's Movie Night, among other activities on the entertainment menu, for only Shs 80, 000 per adult and Shs 54, 000 for children.
"Get into the holiday spirit with a delicious festive feast on Christmas Day at Nyanja and Lake Terrace Restaurants, rounded off with live music, Christmas décor, and a beautiful ambiance," Speke Resort said on Facebook.
A cold bar, cold beverages, a bread counter, an egg station, a sandwich and slider station, a pasta station, a hot buffet, fresh fruit cuts, and a children's area comprise the brunch menu.
Cold Bar: There will be a selection of cold meats and cheeses, as well as avocado and tomato lettuce, stuffed eggs canapés, roasted beetroot and coconut salad, garden fresh mix lettuce, garden peas and sweet corn salad, and a selection of sauces, dips, and condiments.
Cold beverages will be provided in this section, including purified water, fresh cocktail juice, packed apple juice, and a strawberry milkshake.
The bread station will sell chocolate croissants, plain muffins, chocolate brownies, cookies, cherry Danish, banana cake, raisin cinnamon bread, black olive bread, vegetable pie, and chicken pie.
The egg station will provide a selection of omelettes and sauces.
At the sandwich and slider station, you'll find focaccia bread, brown bread, white bread, panini bread, slices of beef steak and chicken combo, fresh lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, cucumber slices, gherkins, olives, sundried tomatoes, mayonnaise, and tomato sauce.
Pasta Station: At the pasta station, there will be chicken, meat, vegetables, penne pasta, spaghetti pasta, macaroni pasta, cheese sauce, tomato sauce, and bolognaise sauce.
The hot buffet will include vegetable pilau rice, farmed fresh chicken breast, black pepper, crusted beef medallion, fish orly, beans katogo, and oven-roasted seasoned potatoes.
Fresh fruit cuts will include mango, watermelon, pineapples, papayas, passion fruits, and bananas.
In the Kids' Corner, there will be potato chips, chicken lollipops, and tiny pizzas.
Pancake, Doughnut, and Cookie Counter: This will have a variety of donuts, red velvet pastry, chocolate mud cake, mango cheesecake, vanilla and strawberry cake, and tropical fruit slices.
